Holiday Updates from skti
Published December 22, 2004
I'm happy to announce today that I have released skEdit v3.5. It's been a long time in the making. At the same time, I have launched a new design of the website. I will go into further detail about each of these in future posts over the next couple of days. At the moment, I have more things to attend to with the release.
Please send any feedback through the new contact form. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Website looks great, and I've downloaded/installed 3.5. Looks like I will be spending $20.00 this week! Great product.
Colin D. Devroe on December 22, 2004 #Wonderful news! I really like the new web presence and cannot wait to get familiar with the new skEdit features. Great work and happy holidays!
Jeremy on December 22, 2004 #Site looks great. Keep up the grat work on skEdit. Happy Holidays!!
Sean Sullivan-Daley on December 22, 2004 #Wow. Nice site design. Can't wait to use the new version. Keep up the great work!
Brian on December 22, 2004 #Great work...it's going to take me at this time 1 hour 33 minutes to download it :( Lots of load?
Nick on December 22, 2004 #The website as a whole seems to be responding well, but the dmgs in particular may be getting a lot of hits. Fortunately, they are only about 2 MB. I generally try to do the release incrementally to reduce the load, but with the way the web works, a lot of sites pick it up on their own.
Sean Kelly on December 22, 2004 #A pity the download is so slow, I can hardly await to try it out!
Does anyone know any existing alternative download sites already?
Markus Peter on December 22, 2004 #Hi Sean...I don't mind hosting a mirror...email me if your interested.
Nick on December 22, 2004 #Nick has agreed to provide a download of the demo for a while:
http://skedit.netdupe.com/skEdit.dmg
that's always the most heavily hit file, so that should help.
Sean Kelly on December 22, 2004 #Thanks again for this beautiful piece of software Sean, and congratulations on the new site's design: it's gorgeous!
