skEdit v3.5.1 Posted
Published May 15, 2005
I've posted an update to v3.5, fixing the one serious new issue reported in Tiger. Otherwise, v3.5.1 is the same as v3.5. You can download the demo from the download page. It uses the same demo period as v3.5. Licensed users can download the full version by logging into their account.
I'll be doing the press release, email update, MacUpdate, VersionTracker, etc. some time this week. Please report any new issues through the contact form.
What is the serious issue? I've had a few directories and files disappear into thin air or revert to older versions. I need to know if this is the issue that has been fixed in 3.5.1 before I continue to use it. Don't make me use BBEdit for too long. It's too horrible.

Nick on May 17, 2005 #The issue was a crash when you go into the Code Navigator preferences. I've not heard of the issue you mentioned, so please send some details via the contact form: http://www.skti.org/contact.php
Sean Kelly on May 17, 2005 #I'm still not sure if it's skEdit that's causing the problem. I'm trying to reproduce the issue but I haven't had time yet. I'll fill out a bug report if I am able to get some more details, but I wanted to make sure that this was or wasn't the issue you addressed first. Thanks for the clarification, guys.
Mark Eagleton on May 18, 2005 #This release also fixed some minor bugs with autotabbing (at least in my setup) that were driving me crazy : ) and a small glitch with bracket closing (where a bracket would not autotab itself to the right position)
Man, do I love this editor... :D
Ale Muñoz on May 24, 2005 #I'm anxious to see where 3.6 goes!!! Any word, Sean?
Luke Dorny on June 14, 2005 #v3.6 is still under development. I'm in the process of finishing up the fifth beta to send to the testers. There will likely be two or three more betas after that.
