how do add syntax coloring? I've tried adding "keyword.method.js" to the colors preference... but my methods in my js file don't highlight in the chosen color. what am i doing wrong?
In the Javascript syntax definition, keyword.method.js is used for methods of built-in classes. If you want to color your own methods, you'll need to add them (or a regular expression representing them) to the syntax definition in the "Languages" preference pane.
ok that sounds fine. but can I to a mass edit/update of the languages... or even create a custom bundle based on the javascript one installed? I trying to setup skedit to be my script editor for a game engine I use. Also if I have to do it by hand can I then export the tweaked bundle to share with others?
Thanks for keep this application alive! Is there also a multilanguage support of skEdit V4? Because in German not all pull-down menus were translated, so i changed back to V3.6.1.
Hello! I like skedit a lot and use it every day in the agency. Is there a chance that the copy/paste hiccup will be repaired soon? When I press Cmd+c (or Cmd+v) skedit ignores it quite often. Would be so great!
excellent. works great.
thank you for the fix!

thylaxene on March 19, 2008 #The bundles are directories of plists, so they can be pretty easily edited and shared. The details of the format are in the documentation:

Have you still V3.6.3 anywhere for download?
christoph on March 25, 2008 #If you send me an email via the Contact page, I can provide a download link for v3.6.3. I hope to have the localizations fully restored soon.
