The first beta is away
Published July 11, 2004
I sent out v3.5b1 to the testers just a few minutes ago. The beta is a bit earlier than I usually send out, but I wanted to start getting feedback as soon as I could. I'm pretty excited about this version, and look forward to their feedback, good or bad...
I've also spent a bit of time cleaning up the MT archives here. I realized that some of my intrasite links were broken, so all of those have been fixed.
What does it take to be a beta tester?
Colin D. Devroe on July 13, 2004 #Most of the testers are people who have purchased the application. Some though are volunteers. At this point, I'm not looking for many more volunteers, unless you have access to an SFTP server. If you do, please use the contact page in the URL for this post and let me know.
Sean Kelly on July 13, 2004 #The reason I ask is, because my demo is about to expire and I was planning on purchasing 3.4. However, if I saw a roadmap for 3.5, or had the ability to test it out - I'd definitely buy 3.4 as I know that the 3.5 upgrade is free.
Colin D. Devroe on July 13, 2004 #v3.5 will have the same price as v3.4, so if v3.4 is meeting your needs, you might as well purchase it now. That would also get you into the beta program, so you'd get all the new features early.
Sean Kelly on July 13, 2004 #I'll probably jump on board for b2 or rc1.
